Laboratories
The HTFCS department currently has four active learning laboratories. The program in Hotel and Restaurant Management operates a full service kitchen and restaurant that provides students with real world experiences in food preparation and service. The program operates a luncheon series that provides high end catering and meals for campus and community groups and individuals.
The Interior Design program has a design laboratory that provides the technology for students to learn cutting edge graphic art and design techniques and practices.
The Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design program has two laboratories-one a clothing construction lab and the other a design( LECTRA ) laboratory that allows students to utilize the latest graphic design techniques in the fashion industry.
