Family & Consumer Sciences Education
Program of Study
The study of FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES EDUCATION includes the content areas of Family and Child Development, Nutrition and Food Science, Apparel, Textiles, and Fashion; Interior Design; and Consumer Issues. In addition, students study and practice the latest in professional education. The content area of the program of study allows the student enough guided electives for a minor in one of the Family and Consumer Sciences areas if desired. The hallmark of the program includes many opportunities to learn in laboratories and in public school classrooms.
