Hotel and Restaurant Management
Internships
The Internship is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid work experience that serves as the bridge from the university to a career as a hospitality manager. Students are assisted in their search for a suitable internship by the entire faculty. The student is directed and evaluated by a mentor at the hotel or restaurant and a HRM faculty member. In the past, students in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at Georgia Southern University worked in resorts and hotels from St. Thomas in the VI to Chicago.
