Suggested Four Course Sequence by Year for Entering Freshman
The point of acceptance into the program depends on how quickly the student completes the required minimum 30 hours of course work and Pre-major requirements, and successfully applies to the program. This model is based on completing the 30 semester hours including the four required courses the first year, then application for acceptance, design courses and core the 2ND year, Design Studio sequence the 3rd year and 4th year. Additional core requirements are completed during summer school and the final semesters of the senior year. The goal is to spread out core so that the final semesters include both design courses and core requirements.
For important information on the courses below (including pre-requisites, co-requisites, minimum grade requirements, and the specific semesters courses are typically offered), please download the Interior Design Pre-Major Advising form here [link = http://www.georgiasouthernhealthscience.com/student-services/curriculumsheets/Int_Design.pdf ].
