RESEARCH AND PRACTICE DAY – APRIL 7, 2008
The Mu Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International at Georgia Southern University in cooperation with The Professional Nurses' Network Chapter of the Georgia Nurses Association will present the second Research and Practice Day, April 7, 2008.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The purpose of this program is to provide a forum for disseminating health-related research and practice projects by encouraging submission from across institutional settings and disciplines. Abstracts are invited for paper presentations of completed research (by conference date) in the areas of intervention, outcomes, and historical research; nursing practice projects, educational innovations, and leadership. Abstracts of research or projects in progress are welcome for poster presentations as are student posters communicating research.

Mu Kappa Announces Grant Competition
Mu Kappa Chapter is pleased to announce its call for research grant applications. Up to $1000.00 will be awarded this round with no one award of more than $500.00. Applications are encouraged from Mu Kappa members prepared at the Master's level or above. Applications will be accepted until August 1, 2007.
