Podcasting

What is a Podcast?

A podcast is an episodic program delivered via the Internet. Podcast episodes can be audio or video files. The instructor publishes the podcast episodes via the University Podcasting Server. The student subscribes to the podcast using a client application, such as iTunes, which regularly downloads new episodes.

In addition to the MP3 audio files your course may also contain MP4 video files compatible with the video versions of the iPod.

Click here for a short video tutorial on using iTunes with your course podcasts.

Students wishing to sync non-iPod players with iTunes (Windows only) can install the iTunes Sync software that is included on this Resource CD. Help on using the software can be found here: http://www.binaryfortress.com/itunes-sync/help/
