NewsGeorgia Southern University President Details Proposed Budget Cuts We were recently made aware that state legislators are considering imposing an additional $300 million reduction to higher education in Georgia. In addition to the more than $11 million reduction that Georgia Southern had already planned for this year, we are now being asked to plan for an additional $14.7 million reduction. This would bring our total reduction to more than $25 million or approximately 30% in cuts to the University’s operating budget in just two years. Click here to see what you can do to help!
